About
The Sharanpal Singh Charitable Foundation is a Gursikh family charitable trust set up in 2008 to commemorate the life of late Sharanpal Singh from East Dulwich, London. Sharanpal Singh departed for his heavenly abode on 1st Sep 2006 at a young age of 28 years, after enjoying 14 months of a successful kidney transplant. He was the only son of Mrs. & Mr. Dharam Singh. His sudden demise left an immense void in the lives of the Singh family.
Sharanpal Singh believed in sharing his resources with the unprivileged. To keep alight the noble thinking of their beloved son, a Charitable Trust was founded, with an aim to leave a legacy to help (primarily in India, the birth place of Sharanpal Singh) those who suffer from renal failure and related kidney disease conditions, but have meager resources to avail the expensive treatment, urgently needed for securing another lease of life.
Currently, the trust is wholly funded by the family. The day to day work of the Trust is carried out by the Trustees, family members and friends on a voluntary basis. This involves identifying and verifying potential recipients of awards, ensuring fair treatment of each and every eligible applicant without prejudice to creed, colour, gender or religion.
Should you wish to be involved with this noble cause, please contact us (Please leave your telephone number, postal address and e.mail address in the message column as well. for quick response.)
